What is the minimum age for the Ride & Play sessions?

The minimum age to ride is 2 years.

What animals will we see?

That really depends on the time of year. Usually we have horses, donkeys, chickens, sheep & goats.

At certain times of the year we will have lambs, chicks & foals.

Do we need to arrive at the session start time?

No, you can arrive anytime within your booked slot (Morning or Afternoon)

You can head to the animal barn to see the animals and do crafts, or the playground before it's your turn to ride.

How long will the pony ride be?

Around 15 minutes through he fairy woods. We can ride indoors if the weather is bad.

What should my child wear?

This is really weather dependant but boots/wellies would be ideal with trousers/leggings. We have riding hats to us.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We are well used to the scottish weather! Our animals will be inside and we can ride in our indoor arena. Dates cannot be rearranged/refunded due to weather.

Can I request a refund/rearrange date?

Tickets cannot be refunded for any reason. Ticket date can be rearrneged due to covid-19/isolating. Please get in touch and we can help you with a new date.

How many adult's can accompany one child?

Maximum of 2 adults

I have other children that won't ride, can they still come?

Children under 2 are free as they cannot ride. Older children will need a ticket.

Do you have toilet facilities?

Yes, we have one toilet on site.

Do you have a cafe/drinks facilities?

We have a snack van offering food and drinks. We also have picnic tables in the park.

Can we wander around and see the other horses etc?

Your ticket includes pony rides, animal barn & playground. The stables/barns etc are staff only and are off limits for health & safety reasons.

Can we bring our dog?

We do not allow dog's.

We have our own dogs plus lots of vulnerable animals.
